L4T Terms and Condition

L4T Prepaid Legal Service is a legal service provider.  We provide legal coverage to members subject to the framework of the following terms and conditions.

Clause 1. L4T agrees to provide legal coverage to members as follows:

A. Legal advice and consultation.  The scope of services are as defined in each package and must be related to members only.

B. Negotiation legal claim or assist in resolving your legal matters.  We act as representative or participate in negotiations as well as to resolve disputes prior to litigation procedure.  There may be additional charges depending on the package selected by the members.

C. Provide an attorney to hearing the interrogation and giving you legal advice.  L4T will provide a consultant or attorney to attend the inquiry and provide legal counsel at the police station immediately upon being notified by member regarding the incident.  There may be additional charges depending on the package selected by the members.

D. Process the provisional release (Bail).  L4T will proceed to request a temporary release or the bail for member in all procedures as permitted by law.  However, L4T assumes no responsibility if the member is not granted for the bail in any procedure.

E. Reserve the security deposit in case of provisional release with bail and security.  If the member is granted for the bail at any procedure and if there is condition that the security must be provided, the member is obliged to provide the security on his/her own.  In the event the member cannot provide the security on time and wishes that L4T provides the security in advance on his/her behalf, L4T agrees to temporarily advance the security for the member for not exceeding 15 days and the limit depends on the selected package.  The member is also required to pay service fee to L4T on the security agreement signing date as specified in each package.

Members are required to provide replaced security within a specified period (15 days).

L4T reserves the right to refuse providing security for bailing the member if it considers that the member might not be able to comply with the bail agreement or the case is not covered by the package or the case is subject to more than 5 years imprisonment or the member is prosecuted and taken into custody and not being granted for bail due to other cases.

L4T may withdraw the security immediately after completing 15 days.  In addition, the security may be withdrawn immediately if it finds out that the member has behavior to escape or fails to report or meet the officer or court at appointed time or member is in breach of agreement or fails to comply with any provision or instruction of L4Twhich may impact the case or when member engages other lawyer, person or juristic person to handle the legal case instead of L4T

F. Contract and Document review. L4T provides document or agreement reviews and gives suggestion to members.  Members are required to pay the service fee for document review at the amount specified in each package.  The service for this package includes only review and suggestion only and does not include drafting of contracts or document preparation or modification in any way.

G. Make a prosecution or defend with person or juristic person on your behalf both in
Civil and Criminal cases.  L4T provides employees for member to authorize the powers in order to take legal action or exercise rights at courts on behalf of the member.  In such regard, member is required to pay the service fee at the amount specified in each package.  In exercising the rights at courts or in case of any lawsuit at courts, the service fee charged for each package is for the Court of First Instance only.  The professional fee is also required as specified in each package and L4T will collect initial amount of 30,000 Baht (Thirty Thousand Baht only), the balance of professional fee will be paid by the members to L4T within 3 days from the date of judgment awarded by the Court of First Instance or within 3 days from the date of the case was completed before judgment awarded by the Court.  In the event the case has to be referred to the Appeal Court or Supreme Court or at enforcement procedure, the member will have to pay additional service fee which L4T will consider case by case.

Clause 2. L4T agrees to provide service to a member on the date specified by the member.  The validity period of coverage is as specified in the package.

Clause 3. L4T will consider the passport number and issuing country notified or registered by the member are the main evidence for the confirming the membership status.

Clause 4. L4T agrees to provided service and coverage for legal matter only in Phuket, Phang Nga and Krabi and the case must be directly related to the member.  In addition, the coverage is valid when L4T has completely received the service from the member.

Clause 5. L4T agrees to provide service and coverage to member for the matter or event that occurs after the purchase of service and during the coverage duration only.

Clause 6. The service and coverage do not include:

6.1 Damage that member has to pay to litigant according to the law or mediation agreement.
6.2 Security used for bail except that it is provided in the package.
6.3 Fees imposed by the officials or courts.
6.4 Transportation or delivery of documents and/or materials related to case if the member takes legal action against any person and/or juristic person or when member is prosecuted.
6.5 Traveling fee, accommodation fee and allowance in the event L4T has to proceed or take any action in order to maintain the rights and benefits concerning the case outside Phuket.
6.6 Traveling fee, accommodation fee and allowance in the event the member takes any legal action or is prosecuted and such case is processed at any court outside Phuket.

Clause 7. L4T shall provide legal coverage in all cases except when the member commits an offence for the following charge:

7.1 Offences relating to the Security of the Kingdom.
7.1.1 Offences against the King, the Queen, the Heir-apparent and the Regent.
7.1.2 Offences against the Internal Security of the Kingdom.
7.1.3 Offences against the External Security of the Kingdom.
7.1.4 Offences against the Friendly Relations with Foreign States.

7.2 Offences relating to Drug.
7.3 Offences relating to Sexuality.
7.4 Offences relating to having firearm or explosive in possession
7.5 Offences relating to illegal immigration

Clause 8. In addition to the service fee that the member is required to pay for each package, L4T will collect on a case by case basis and against each individual for which the member has to pay the service fee immediately when staff of L4T invoices.

Clause 9. L4T reserves the right to terminate coverage at any time if it is found out later that the member is an individual who has behavior or causes any circumstance that offends against the law on an ongoing basis or is subject to an arrest warrant issued by any country.

Clause 10. When member has bought service, cancellation or change of package is prohibited but member can only change the validity date of coverage.  However, the change must be notified in advance before the commencement date at least 24 hours in advance.

Clause 11. Coverage extension.  Member can renew the coverage at any time before the expiration date of the package.  Moreover, the member is also able to increase the number of covering day of existing package as desired by the member.

Clause 12. The coverage duration for services provided by L4T will be based on date and time in Thailand.  The commence time begins at 00.01 hr. of the commence date and coverage expires at 00.00 of the expiration date.

Member accepts to have read and fully the terms and conditions before buying the prepaid legal service and agrees with the conditions in all respects and therefore registered as member with L4T.
